Abingdon, Kentucky

Where the road began.

“Go out and survive, or die trying.”

Brady Diggs grew up in Abingdon, Kentucky, where coal-country grit and hard work were a way of life. His father spent years deep in the coal mines before moving above ground to work for a hydraulics component manufacturer.

Brady respected the mining life and the people who lived it. His father wanted him to find his own road. When graduation came, his advice was plain: “You’ve got two choices… go out and survive, or die trying.”

Brady took him at his word.

The next stop

A toolbox.
A voice.

Looking for opportunity, Brady landed in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, repairing rides and equipment as an amusement maintenance hand at Dollywood. He sang while he worked, often following the music coming through the park speakers.

One afternoon, he rested on a bench with his tool kit at his feet. He closed his eyes and sang along. When he opened them, an older gentleman was standing there. The man dropped a few bills into Brady’s open tool kit.

“Keep it up, kid. That baritone voice you’ve got is a train ride you need to take.”

Brady never forgot it.

Why Hide the
Western in You

Brady’s debut is about embracing who you are, where you come from, and letting your roots show. His deep baritone carries the working-man honesty he grew up with—stories for miners, mechanics, dreamers, and drifters chasing something real.
