Behind the music · Flying B Records

Country music starts with a story.

AI helps us make the recording. The story, revisions, listening, and decision to release it take human time and care.

Hear how it began

The beginning

A song from my sister.

Flying B Records began with a text while I was boarding a plane in Detroit. My sister had made a song for me. She writes programs that help manage data, so she was comfortable exploring new technology. What struck me, though, was how much feeling she had put into that song.

She told me she had used an AI music tool. I started exploring what those tools could do and how much a person could shape the result. That first song grew into a way of working that still begins with something no tool can supply for us: a story we care about telling.

From idea to release

The work behind
what you hear.

A song idea may arrive in a moment. Turning it into a Flying B Records release takes time: writing, trying musical versions, listening closely, and deciding what needs another round of work.

  1. 01

    Start with a real story.

We work out who the song is about, where it happens, and what we want a listener to carry away from it.

  2. 02

    Write and rewrite.

AI can help explore lyrics. We examine the words, rhyme, and rhythm line by line, changing anything that weakens the story.

  3. 03

    Find the sound.

We use music-generation tools to try a song in sound, then listen for the voice, pacing, and feeling the story needs. Versions that miss the mark go back for more work.

  4. 04

    Decide if it earns release.

A finished version still has to pass a final listening review. Approval is a choice made by people, not a button in the software.

The final test

Five listens.
Two questions.

We play the song five times in a row. Does its message still come through? After the fifth listen, do we want to hear it again? If either answer is no, the song goes back for another round of work.

Our approach

Virtual artists.
Human decisions.

Our artists are virtual, and AI is part of how their music is made. We want to be clear about that. The stories we choose, the lines we revise, the versions we reject, and the songs we finally share are guided by people.

That is the promise behind All Out Country Radio: give every release the time and attention its story deserves, then let you decide whether it stays with you.
